I finally remembered to play it! I didn't see a README in the Linux archive but the controls were fairly standard/straightforward so it wasn't an issue.
It was interesting how the bad end kinda feeds into the good ending. I really like the model for Ruthie(?) because it was so appropriately creepy. I also didn't realize that the decision for the book was so pivotal until the game closed after getting the good ending and I could see the debug info in the terminal hehe.
I also think my timing was super randomly on-point with the first door and I clicked on it and got the text about it never being locked right as it opened. Oh and the newspaper in the first area is such a tease! So much juicy info in there if only we could read it :D
The absolute spookiest thing when playing was the door opening sound in the distance, I always got very nervous about what I'd find next... or what could find me.
I completely forgot that for Linux users you can see the info in the terminal, hahahaha! I will have to go back and adjust that for the future, thank you for letting me know Zeik 8]
Thank you as well for playing it and leaving such a thorough review as well, I am very appreciative~! <3
Thank you so much for playing, I am so glad you enjoyed it 8] And thank you for posting a video, it's always great seeing my work pop up in your LPs! <3
